We ventured out during the summer of 2015 to go on a “grand loop” vacation!

Our goal was to get in as much as we could in the limited time we had for the vacation…and as such we had a logistical challenge ahead of us.

How could a family of 7 crammed into an SUV survive?  This definitely sparked our desire to travel the country and document our adventures!

We started at Chantel’s mom and dad’s house in Iowa and drove out west, stopping first at Badlands National Park.
